Samuel Tamkin is a Chicago-based real estate attorney with over 36 years of experience working with residential and commercial clients. He began his career in the real estate department of one of the country’s largest real estate law firms, and has had his own practice in real estate for the past 30+ years. Samuel Tamkin has assisting thousands of buyers and sellers in closing transactions. He’s also helped dozens of developers and investors purchase, sell, lease and develop real estate in the Midwest.
Samuel Tamkin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics, History and International Relations. Following the University of Pennsylvania, he received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign-Urbana. He is fluent in Spanish and grew up in Mexico City.
Samuel Tamkin is a nationally-syndicated columnist, with his column is featured or has been featured in dozens of newspapers and websites across the country, including the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, Orlando Sentinel, Columbus Dispatch, and Chicago Tribune. Previously, Samuel Tamkin was a contributor on the nationally-syndicated radio program, “Real Estate USA.”
